The TRINOMA Experience
WARNING! This blog contains offensive criticism, yet, try to be constructive about it. I am a visual merchandiser, what do you expect.
YUCKEE! Thiz iz it.
Yes I will admit, the facade of the said mall is sooper maganda, very Ayala, more like Greenbelt instead of Glorietta (so not like ATC which, btw, I find flabbergasting kasi it's sobrang mukhang hindi Ayala Zobel...needs a lot of help with the visuals) pero what's not so good about it is pinapalibutan siya ng mga people who are sobrang jologs. I mean come on, hindi sa nangdidiscriminate ako, pero diba the environment right beside Trinoma are squatters? You'll see it's population via riding the MRT from North to Quezon Ave. I swear!
There was this time na I was riding the FX and the two people beside me were talking of the mall, and I'll quote one of their makatotohanang comment. '...pare 'pag ikaw nag-shopping sa Trinoma paglabas mo or pag-uwi mo wala ka ng dala...'
I am giving it...hmmm....2-3months before the mall would be infested by manlilimos. (Ho yeah, they've already infested the MRT stations. and I really hate them they're sobrang kadiri and jologs. There was this time na ginulat nila kami pag-open ng elevator, sabay agaw sa Zagu's nung nasa harap ko...how pathetic was that?)
Anyways, back to the mall inspection. The thing that I really hate about the interior is their flooring na mukhang tiles na pang-CR. It's sobrang hindi sosyalan. I don't know why pero I'm sobrang distracted talaga by the sobrang pangit na tiles. Damn.
The shops.
I must say, I give them kudos for the good boutiques and the likes. I was kinda wondering lang with Penshoppe kasi their billboard at North Ave. says na their flagship has landed na @ Trinoma, so I really went there first..pero hindi siya mukhang main store nila...Ang laki pa naman ng text na sinalampak sa ad nila Jericho that's advertising their shop sa mall...tapos I am sobrang not impressed. The one in MegaMall though is very very good. Sobrang ganda with the vignette at the entrance, ho my golly it's a must-see.
Folded & Hung.
I really hate their advertisement right outside their mall na sobrang daming life-size posters ng models wearing their line. It's kinda funny and distracting at the same time. Yes I admit masarap titigan ang mga mukah nung model, pero it's still better if you're gonna be 3-D about it. I'd still go for the realistic mannequins.
(And P.S. They have sobrang bad stock status. Lahat ng hinanap ko wala sila. I had to go to Shangri-La pa tuloy. Damn.)
Bench.
I'd give the shop an A++ for the mall space kasi I think their lot could occupy at least 2-3 stores na. It's that big. Plus everything's segregated excellently. there were areas for men, for women, for accessories, and for their undergarments. Very good Ben Chan. Pero here's my quam about the store. Yes it is undeniable na the store has divided it's section very well, pero the styling and fixing are not so good. They could do better pa. Pero I give them an A+++++ for the be-you-ti-fooolll couches. Ang lalaki, very comfy, and very sosyal. They kinda look like Ottomans pero very modern.
C.R.'s.
Wasn't able to go there pa. Had a hard time locating. Bilang lang ang signages considering the mall is sobrang brand-new pa.
Go make some!
The second floor, it kinda reminds me of MegaMall's ambience.
So there. I wasn't able to go to the other floors pa kasi I am really bothered by the disgusting flooring.
Will update when the store is sobrang filled up na by stores and stalls.
Ta! :)
And P.S. The signage of TRINOMA outside the building, mukha siyang pang-call center. and very small. And very much not appealing, especially the colors. Pero who can we blame? Even the name is not catchy...You get the picture? I just hate the logo. That's it.
