Notable Events of 2006

Contemplating upon all the notable events that has happened in the life of Tim-Tam this 2006.

Here's the list...for reference when I turn 30.

1. January - Emotional turmoil between me and Beda.

It was crazy! One day ayos, the next hindi, then galit, then bati...We're baliws in the making. But then again, if I never met B I would never have understood how crazy I could get when I fall in love. And so now, nahihiya ako sa pinaggagawa ko then. Pero I do miss you you know...

2. February - My big birthday bash?

Guess again! Well, as if I ever celebrated my b.day, kasi I never did. Except that mom would still cook her macaroni and tinapay kahit na sabihan ko siyang wag na kasi I really don't wanna celebrate...Ho gosh ganyan ako ka-loner.

Anyways, February was the day of my defense. Birthday week ko pa nga yun if I am not mistaken. My god it was crazy, Sir Cunanan, Ma'am Sunico and Ms. Wachi-Lei were my jurors then and god! Kala ko babagsak na ko! Okay so I do admit revision ako pero hey, pasado pa rin! :)

3. March - Officially my first JOB na matino.

Snooks, Cece-Gaga, Lewellyn, Ryan Bawe, and me - 'pioneers of CITEM for Batch '02-'06'

I was really proud of ourselves kasi after passing our thesis defense nakapasok kami kagad sa CITEM on contract for F.A.M.E. '06. It was sobrang fun and nakakapagod sobra pero know what, I couldn't be more happy than working with Reine Shih and the rest of the Murder, Incs.

4. April - F.A.M.E. '06 @ the World Trade Center, Roxas Boulevard.

Very tiring ang set-up pero sobrang fun. I will forever remember the people who've been like family to me na. I may have forgotten some of your names pero I'll never forget the memories and you bet, when I see you sa Rustan's I'll offer you my discounts. :) Haha!

5. May - Goodbye CITEM, hello Rustan's!

My contract with CITEM ended nung last Friday of April. Then fortunately enough, the VMD family of Rustan's has accepted me making me a part of the nakakalokang team. And how can I forget May? HERITAGE EVENT @ Rustan's Home Department where we've drastically turned the entire Our Very Own Department into an event area. Whew! You will never know O.V.O. not unless you became a part of the Home Team. Touch-move doon eh. Move or merch one area and sooner than expected, you'll have to do the entire location. It's contagious.

Oh and how can I forget the Heritage event. I was fixing the dressing room for the models with Kuya Dennis, and there was this stylist who told Kuya Jo na if Kuya Jo will give my number to him he'll help us with the setting-up of the room. And so there. We were textmates...then. Haha! Nakakaloko pala ko...not unless he's blind or something. :)

6. June - When the term crush became L-O-V-E.

Yes, I was sobrang nabaliw kay....well, everybody knows. Basta think Home Department...isang area dun. Haha! :) Hope you'd notice me naman kahit...everyday? Haha! :)

7. July - 'Weddings & Beyond Nightmare!': The Series.

My god this was such a nightmare. Marinig ko nga lang ang term na Weddings sumisigaw na ko. And don't get me started on laces and the color white. Damn! And masakit is that it did not end on the launch of the said registry, we still take charge of its events like Bridal showers, etc. PLUS! Wala pa diyan yung launch ng W&B sa ibang branch. DAMN!

8. August - I thought I had DENGUE!

I got sick, wala naman akong ginawa nung days before, pero there I was lying on my bed. Nanghihina and vomitting became a habit. Uso pa naman nito yung Dengue so I was really freaked out! Damn! How did it go? Eto...buhay pa naman. False alarm.

9. September - My very first Credit Card

It was fun 'til it lasts...It's fun signing up papers pagkagamit mo ng card mo. Makes me feel like a pro.

10. October - The BIG SWITCH

It was about time na people finally realized my true passion...Fashion. I was asked kung ok lang sa king makipagswitch kay Ninang Janice from Makati to Gateway where I'll be in charge of the Fashion Floor. And voila! Here I am. Styling and more styling. Pero don't get me wrong. Hawak namin buong Rustan's Gateway pero yun nga lang, pansin naman ng lahat, mas tutok ako sa fashion. What can I do? Yun ang pinagkatiwala sa kin ni Boss eh? Hihi.. :)

11. November - Christmas Set-up @ Rustan's Gateway

God everyday was a nightmare. This is like the Weddings & Beyond set-up pero slightly worse. Everyday overnight, then sometimes kinukulong kami sa store kasi wala ng magbabantay sa min. Damn it was crazy!

12. December - Two of the greatest personas I've ever met.

I accidentally met these two magpinsans whom, one of which, is the one we constantly call 'remote'. And you know why you. :) Anyways I am really fond of them kasi their really something else. Yes, I do admit I am liking one of them pero I won't mention who...(as if hindi alam ng mga ka-office ko :)...pero the thing is...I really value what we have right now. I don't know if it's friendship or something else, pero I really do value it more than creating a relationship. I love you ya'll. And I don't want this to end...ever. Kaya nga I'm bringing you over to my 2007 memories eh...'til death.

Ho yeah, December '06 was the launch din nga pala ng Boudoir @ the Ladies Department of Rustan's. Pero we have na din sa Tower.

So there. I am hoping for a better year this 2007. Sana I've actually comprehended na everything that has been oh so wrong sa buhay ko.
